Do not know who I will kill first the dog or the master! <br /><br />As to the canning thing yes I have had that happen. First off lower the temperature a little but maybe boil just a bit longer just not as hard of a boil. Also helps if you fill them just a bit less. Like if you would normally fill to 1/2 inch fill to 3/4 inch instead. I think they are not making them as thick as they used to or maybe not the same metals.<br /><br />Glad to see I am not the only one having problems with the lids!
