I'm a good pouter.......

Actually I wrote the book on pouting, but he knows how to stop me from pouting, most of the time that is, by buying me something new! Such as a new Mantis tiller!! Wootwootwoot!!!
Now if he will just clean up that garden and get it all tilled for me I might feel better too.
You see I am pouting because I did not get to join in on my friends meeting each other in Missouri yesterday!
Terri and Brenda were not supossed to get together without thecannedquilter and I!
Pout, pout, pout!!!
My lip is really hung low enough to step on right now.
That's what my dad used to say when I was pouting and it would make me so much more pouty!
No REALLY I am so happy for them!
Seriously, happy for them!
Now if you don't believe me......
hahaha
I just wish my stupid job hadn't got in the way of making a trip west to meet these great ladies too. There will be other trips, especially when we talk Terri into moving south!
Now to prove to you all that I am not ALL bad......
I have decided to get on the "Dress A Girl Around The World" train
and make some dresses to send to special little girls who may not otherwise have a pretty dress!
I surely have a stash of fabric that can be put to good use now.
These are pillowcase style dresses that are super easy to make and satisfy my cravings for a "quick sew project"......I have those cravings daily ya know?
Robin planted this little idea in my brain.
Go on over and look at her 3 beautiful dresses that she made in the past day or so.....getting ready to burst open with this new grandchild of mine too! Tuesday!! heheheehe

I didn't use a pattern, I just guesstimated and I think it's perfect for a girl about a size 7 or 8.

I used bias tape for the trim and ties.....easy peasy!

I plan to make several more.

Wanna join me?

I promise I will stop pouting......some day....one day............maybe!

I am not a horrible person, no matter how much you think I am!

Na Na Na Nah Nah!!

I bet you've always wanted one too!

We have finally took the time to work on this dollhouse that has been started for what 2 years or so? I am loving it more than I thought I would too!!
Like the walnut stained door?
How about my vintage farmhouse kitchen sink?

I even have a to scale dollhouse for my dollhouse!!

This is so the dollies can play dollhouse too.
I will let the dollies decorate this one all by themselves!
Emma is getting pretty excited about getting this thing finished before she goes off to college.
Go check out Amy's dollhouse over at duringquiettime.blogspot.com.
This is the link to her kitchen but the rest of the dollhouse is in previous posts.
SOOOOO CUUUUUUUUUTE!!
The girls at work said I needed to have a dollhouse play party and invite all the women I work with. Now how fun would that be? No kids, just adults! LOL!!
Sorry Emma and Lillie you will have to wait your turn!
"Lillie" is my 4th grandchild who is coming next week.
They are going to induce labor on Tuesday if she holds out that long!
I can't wait to meet her!!

Ever have one of those days?

Where every thing you did went wrong?
Where everyone you came in contact with made you mad?
Where you felt you were doing a senseless job?
Where no matter how much you do for some people it goes un-noticed by that person?
Where you wonder if you really need the money bad enough to continue doing that senseless job?
Where you ponder at why you took that job in the first place?
Where you try your best to figure out when and how you can get out of that job?
Where you know that you do not want to give up such a great job?
Where you have grown to HATE Mondays and all they bring with them?
Where you question your skills at what you do?
URGH!!!!!!!
I have had one of those days today as well as last Monday!
It really has nothing to do with me and my nursing skills.
Nothing to do with the office dynamics as I have a great raport with the Dr and the office assistant. I also have a great relationship with most all of our patients.
I always go above and beyond to care for them as I always have in my nursing career.
However, there just seems to be a few people who can just crawl under my skin and sit there and bite me and chew and gnaw for hours on end!
The kinda biting, gnawing that you just can't shake off or leave at the office no matter how much you try to!
I wish I could say more about the situation but my hands are tied and my lips are sealed!
I just want you to know that it is giving me uneccesary chest pain tho!!
SO...I just dream of better days to come. Garden time. I dream of playing in the dirt.
I dream of the peacefulness and the way the time just floats on by as if to stand still.
The warm sun soothing my sore muscles............
Yes I am going off to my happy place now..............
